Agenda's now available for Roade Parish Council meetings on January 15th 2018

The agenda for both the Planning Committee meeting and the full Council meeting on January 15th are now available.

Items for discussion include setting the budget and precept for 2018/2019 and finalising the order for new play equipment for both Churchcroft Open Space and the Recreation Ground, London Rd.

Next council meeting January 15th 2018

The next full meeting of Roade Parish Council takes place on January 15th, starting at 7pm with the Planning Committee Meeting and followed at approx 7.15pm by the full Council meeting.

The agenda's will be published shortly.

Please note that this meeting has been pushed back a week due to the Christmas break.

Streetlight Faults

Roade Parish Council are responsible for the upkeep of all the streetlights within the parish. We use a lighting contractor who will attend and repair any faulty lights but we rely on members of the public to notify us when they spot a faulty light.

Internet outages impact upon Parish Council Office

As of 1pm on Wednesday January 3rd some of the residents of Roade that use BT for their broadband services have had no service for over 24 hours.

The parish council office relies heavily on the internet and the staff have therefore been based at other locations for the last couple of days. We have been in touch with BT who told us that they hope service will be resumed by 1pm today.

Parish Office-Christmas break information

The parish office will be closed over Christmas with the Clerk and Deputy Clerk taking a short break.

The office will close from 2pm Thursday December 21st and will re-open at 10am January 2nd 2018.
