A508 full Closure at Grafton Regis from 8pm on Friday 29th September until 6am on Monday 2nd October 2023
Winvic Construction Ltd have advised us that they are currently working on the A508 in Grafton Regis as part of the Church Lane junction improvement scheme.
Part of this work requires the highway to be resurfaced which will be happening this weekend, 20:00 29th Sep until 06:00 2nd October.

Roadworks on Ashton Road
We have spoken to the company carrying out the roadworks on Ashton Road and they have confirmed that the temporary traffic lights will be removed this afternoon at approximately 3.30pm for the weekend. Cripps Road will also be re-opened for the weekend (all signs however will remain).

Become a volunteer at Roade Community Library - Open evening
Please see the attached document with details on how to become a volunteer at Roade Community Library. There is an open evening where you can meet the current volunteers on Thursday 28th September 3-4pm or 7-8pm or email roadecml1@gmail.com or go into the library during opening hours and pick up a volunteer form.

A representative from the local Neighbourhood Police team will be at Roade Community Library between 2-4pm on the following dates:

Thursday 2nd November
Friday 15th December
The Beat Bus will be at Roade Village Hall on Wednesday 25th October from 3:30-4:30pm.

A43 off M1 Junction 15a - weekend closure - Friday 22nd - Monday 25th September
We have been notified by Winvic that there will be a full weekend closure to reconstruct areas of A43 carriageway off J15A commencing at 8pm Friday 22nd September until 6am Monday 25th September.

Gamerz Mega Bus
Thank you to Cllr Stuart Shrubb for helping while the Gamerz Mega Bus was at Roade Community Library on Tuesday 22nd August. Bike Marking at Roade Village Hall - today until 4pm
PCSO's Charlotte Morris and Nicole Degg from Northamptonshire Neighbourhood Police team are at Roade Village Hall this afternoon bike marking residents bikes free of charge.

Delay to sign being installed at new bypass roundabout (coming from Northampton)
We have been advised by Winvic that there has been a delay with installing the new road sign on the A508 from Northampton on the approach to the new bypass roundabout (directing traffic right to MK).
This should be installed this week.
