Next parish council meeting on January 14th 2019, 7.00pm Roade Village Hall

The next full council meeting of Roade Parish Council begins with the Planning Committee meeting at 7pm and is followed by the full council meeting at 7.15pm on January 14th 2019.

The budget and precept for the financial year 2019-2020 will be approved in the main council meeting.

Libraries Consultation

Burnt Out Moped in Cemetery

Thank you to all who have reported this, unfortunately someone has seen fit to set fire to a Honda moped on the grass at the entrance to the cemetery.

If you have had a Honda bike stolen recently there are no registration plates left but I do have photos.

A5 open again!

Good morning

As you may be aware we completed our essential maintenance works to the A5 in Towcester last night.

I'd be grateful if you would take care when crossing the road as the volume of traffic will increase substantially now that it has been re-opened to through traffic.

Hartwell Road Zebra Crossing

The Parish Council have just been told by Persimmon Homes that the works on the crossing outside the primary school have been delayed. They will let us know as soon as they have any further information.

Crime in Roade & surrounding villages

We have had a spate of crimes in the parish, the Police have issued the following -

We are looking into the crimes that have been report in Roade, It seem that Wootton, Grange Park, and Roade over the last month or so have been targeted with Burglaries and Thefts of and from motor vehicles.

Patrols plans have been organised and other intelligence led operations which are ongoing.
