No cycling on pavements

This is a polite reminder to all cyclists to not cycle on pavements. We have recently received reports from residents of cyclists cycling on pavements within the village. This is both dangerous and unlawful and could result in a fixed penalty notice (on the spot fine) should the Police witness this.

37 canisters & 17 drink cans littering the Closed Rec

37 canisters & 17 drink cans littering the Closed Rec

The Rec is closed, however we have today found 37 canisters and 17 drink cans around the bench in the middle of the Rec.

We believe that this is happening at night time and have notified the Police. Social distancing is still in place, youngsters should not be going out having social gatherings.

Please stay alert, control the virus and save lives!

Parish Office Closed

The Parish office will be closed from 12.30pm on Friday 22nd May and will not reopen again until 9am on Thursday 28th May 2020.

The Rec and Village Play areas remain closed - Teenagers and a family playing in the Rec on Saturday.

The Rec and Village Play areas remain closed - Teenagers and a family playing in the Rec on Saturday.

This is another reminder that the Rec is closed. It is not a park but an enclosed area with play equipment and following Government advice this remains closed.

One of our Councillors saw a group of 3-4 teenage girls in the Rec on Saturday who apologised and left straight away, as soon as he approached them. There was a separate group of two teenage boys who also apologised and left when approached.... Read More »

Roundabout roadworks along A508/Northampton Road Complete

We have received confirmation today from the contractors that the roundabout along the A508/Northampton Road is now completed and all roads including Northampton Road are now open.

Kauto Civils Ltd who completed the work wanted to say a big thank you to all residents for your patience whilst the work was being completed and during the delays due to Covid-19.

A508 London Road - Open tonight, but closed again tomorrow night

We have been advised that the A508/London Road will be re-opened tonight but will be closed again tomorrow night for the white lines to be marked out.

Please also be aware that the roundabout along the A508/London Road and the High Street will also be closed tomorrow night for the 'Keep Clear' signs to be re-positioned correctly.
