We are aware that the bins around the village are very full to overflowing, we have reported these to South Northamptonshire Council (who empty them) and are waiting for confirmation as to when these will be emptied.
In the meantime we appreciate your patience and support and ask if you're able to please take any rubbish home if you're unable to fit it into a bin, thank you.

We wanted to make residents aware that the CCTV cameras are due to be activated this week (week commencing Monday 8th March 2021).
Please note the cameras have to be activated in order for them to be set up, nothing will be recorded until digital privacy screens are in place and the field of view has been set up on the cameras.

The Parish Council are delighted to announce that the purchase of Roade Library building was completed on Monday 1st March 2021. Roade Parish Council purchased the premises from Northamptonshire County Council using Section 106 monies received from the recent housing developments in the village, enabling the library to continue being community managed.

After the success of the Community Larder's appeal for Christmas Chocolate for them to distribute to the recipients of their weekly free food boxes they are asking for donations of Easter goodies.
Boxes for donations are in all the village shops, please do support them by buying locally if you can.
