The Parish Council can confirm that they have purchased and are in the process of having CCTV cameras erected around the village.
The decision to install cameras was made following numerous requests from residents and concerns regarding an increase in crime within the village. CCTV has been discussed numerous times during the last year at our Parish Council Meetings.

Kauto Civils have advised that they will be resurfacing outside Roade Primary School on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th December.
These works will be completed under 2 way traffic lights so they are hoping for minimal disruption to traffic.
They have also advised that the traffic lights will be operational between 9am and 2pm so as not to disrupt the school hours.

There is a Community Liaison group (CLG) who meet every quarter and Cllrs Mick Davies and Declan Waters are attending these on the community's behalf

In support of Operation SCEPTRE, our knife campaign, Northampton Neighbourhoods Team will be around the area with the Knife Amnesty bin and would be happy to receive and dispose of any unwanted Knives.

It's been brought to the Parish Council's attention that some residents in the village have received 'phishing' emails from courier companies advising that they have tried to deliver parcels without success so they will reschedule the delivery at a cost. They then ask for bank details.
This scam is known as phishing.

2020 has certainly been a tough year for all, and has seen most social events cancelled throughout the year.
