Bees nesting in the chapel roof at the cemetery

Bees nesting in the chapel roof at the cemetery

We would like to make you aware that there are currently two bee nests (one either side of the roof) of the chapel at the cemetery.

We have had them looked at and have been advised that they won't do any harm to anyone, and should go away soon.

We wanted to make residents aware if they are visiting the cemetery in case anyone is frightened of them, has a phobia or is allergic to bees.

Celebrating National Volunteers Week to thank everyone who is volunteering to help during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Today's poem to say thank you is:

"It's not for money, it's not for fame,

It's not for any personal gain,

It's your reward in your heart,

It's a feeling that you've been a part,
