Grass cutting - Monday 10th & Tuesday 11th May

Please be advised that the grass cutting contractors will be out in the village today and tomorrow.

Could residents please ensure that no cars are parked on the grass verges during these days to enable our contractors to mow the grass.

Police are appealing for any information regarding motocross use in the village

Northamptonshire Police are appealing to residents asking if anyone has any information regarding a white van that has been spotted parking close to Manor Close dropping off people with motocross/pit bikes who have then been riding across the farmers fields as well as into the the village to fill up with fuel and driving along footpaths.

Motocross bikes being driven down footpaths in the village

Motocross bikes being driven down footpaths in the village

We have received numerous reports of people riding motocross bikes down the KZ8 footpath (by the BP Petrol Station and across the railway bridge to the new Persimmon Homes development).

We would like to remind residents that it is not only illegal to ride the bike down the footpath but it's extremely dangerous and is an accident waiting to happen.

This will be taking place at Blackthorn Bridge Court In Blackthorn on the Friday 23 April 2021 between 1pm and 4pm
