Planning Applications

When a planning application is made for a property in Roade, the parish council is consulted. Depending on the size of the application it will be considered by either the full parish council or the Planning committee.

The parish clerk then sends the agreed response, be it Objection, Observation or No Comment, to South Northants District Council who have the final say on all planning applications unless they are major infrastructure or of national strategic importance.

All planning committee and full council meetings are open to the public.

New Planning Applications

South Northamptonshire Council will no longer be writing to local residents about planning applications, so Roade Parish Council will publish these applications on our news page, and will also share them on our own page and Roade Notice board group page on facebook.
